Уважаемые коллеги, передо мной стоит очень трудная задача, рассказать Вам, о процессе, который я и мои дети прошли интуитивно, следуя своему «Я». Когда хочется сделать учебный процесс не просто интересным, а радостным через сотворчество со своими детьми, используя, по возможности, каждый текст учебника, каждый диалог, в увлекательное перевоплощение в героев. И процесс этот проходил не через чтение книг к действию, а через действия к чтению книг, потому, что именно в процессе и появляется потребность в совершенствовании того, что хочешь делать.

With the introduction of Federal government educational standards (ФГОС II), Russian education is now facing the biggest challenge it has ever faced. The priority goal of our society and education system is to develop young people’s abilities basing on their mastering the ways of mental activities. And the result of education is “measured” by the students’ experience in acquiring the ways of gaining knowledge. So the task for the teachers is to turn the process of learning into the process of acquiring the ways of discovering knowledge, only this way we can teach our students think differently and be innovative.
The question is: “How to make teaching developing and creative? What technology can be useful?”

Что такое проблемное обучение?
Проблемное обучение нацелено на развитие творческого мышления, творческих межличностных отношений, творческой личности в процессе творческой деятельности по постановке и решению проблем на различных уровнях проблемности. В его основе лежит понимание творческого мышления, как мышления основанное на решении проблемной ситуации.

What is going on at our schools? We are feeding our students with the knowledge they are not hungry of. So what do we hear in return? “We don’t want!” And it’s natural.
Dear colleagues, just a few years ago I came across an educational technology, known as knowledge building workshop and I was shocked to learn that teachers in Europe had been experimenting with the “classroom -as -workshop idea” for over the past twenty-five years already and we knew nothing about it, and most of the teachers still don’t. To my mind it simply happens because instead of teaching English, teachers continue studying textbooks with their students. So there is no need or time for investigating new things. I’m going to speak about what I’ve acquired while creating workshop atmosphere in class, and, as an example, present the workshop conducted on the theme “Pros and cons of modern inventions”.
