My heart is in Bury St. Edmunds

The first time I visited England with “English For Life” was in 2008. Since then I have visited England 3 times more, and thanks to “English For Life” company all of the tours were successful.

At first I thought it would be a good idea to explore England going to different summer schools each time. Now I know everyone should find a place to their liking, a place where you would feel at home. Bury St Edmunds is such a place for me and my students and for lots of reasons.

  • The top priority is safety. It a quiet authentic town with its legendary history, beautiful scenery and green countryside communities. Everything in the town is within a walking distance. Host families drive students to school and back home, so no worry about uncontrollable hanging out.
  • Open- hearted, welcoming people greet you with a smile in the morning making the day bright from the very start.  The host families generously share their free time with the students, turning dinner time into friendly conversations. These life lessons are invaluable. The school teachers help children develop their questions and be ready to support the talk.
  • English Lessons never leave children bored or unhappy. The professional teachers staff  manage to improve language skills of every student with challenging exercises and activities.
  • There is always room for improvement, so group leaders have a wonderful opportunity to join international groups of students at adult school.
  • Ben Logan, the Principal, and Robert White, the Head Teacher are absolutely flexible in adjusting the level to students’ requirements.

I would really be happy if there is a chance to take my students to Bury St Edmunds Language School of English again.  A huge “Thank you” to English for Life staff for their competence and professionalism in organizing and guiding the tours all the way through.
